Additional Opportunities
Beyond these six priorities, we have established relationships with hosts from your previous campaign, including Business of Boutique Fitness, Reinforce Your Gym, Strength Chat, Your Fitness Money Coach, Sweat Success and WTF Gym Talk.
Your new book gives us a reason to reconnect with these audiences through a fresh conversation, while prioritizing new opportunities that expand your reach.
These are the six media opportunities we'd explore first, not confirmed bookings. DISRUPT is part of the separately priced Athletech package, with Club Solutions as an alternate if we don't pursue that option.
Other targets include Club Solutions Podcast, with HALO Talks considered selectively for later-stage business growth conversations.
The Opportunity
Vince, we know what worked the first time. Your last book brought in readers and coaching leads, and now The Four Stages of Gym Business Mastery gives us a fresh reason to get you in front of the gym owners who need your expertise.
This time, we're building on that success with a more targeted podcast strategy, a clear next step for listeners, and opportunities to reach independent gym owners beyond your existing network.
Independent gym and boutique studio owners with 1 to 5 locations, plus trainers preparing to open their first facility. The people most likely to benefit from your framework and coaching.
Your three-minute quiz gives listeners a reason to engage immediately, helping them identify their stage while creating a more relevant path into your book and coaching programs.
We'll begin outreach ahead of the book launch, building a pipeline of conversations designed to reach the right audiences as your new framework enters the market.
Here's where we'd start with the podcast outreach.
Our Previous Work Together
Between May 2024 and March 2025, we secured 16 confirmed placements across fitness, business, and coaching podcasts. With a new book and a clear audience in mind, we have a strong starting point for what comes next.

The Conversion Strategy
“What stage is your gym in? Take the three-minute quiz.”
Our recommendation is to lead podcast listeners to the three-minute quiz rather than asking them to purchase the book immediately. It's easy to explain, easy to remember, and gives listeners something useful based on where their business stands. From there, we can introduce the book based on their quiz results.
01
A conversation tailored to the show's audience, built around the challenges gym owners face at different stages.
02
Listeners can identify where their gym stands and which challenges deserve their attention.
03
Quiz results create an opportunity to introduce the book and relevant resources based on each owner's stage.
04
Interested owners have a natural path to explore your coaching programs when they're ready.
Measuring Response
We'll recommend a dedicated podcast URL and a “How did you hear about us?” question within the quiz, then track episode publication dates alongside available quiz activity. It won't capture every listener, but it will give us useful signals about which appearances are generating interest.
Stories Worth Telling
The Hurricane Sandy turf field experience and your framework around uncertainty and powerlessness are two strong starting points. We'll tailor the conversation to each host and audience.
At kickoff, we'll review your existing quiz and follow-up process together so the podcast CTA fits naturally into what's already working. Our work covers the podcast outreach, coordination, amplification and reporting. Your team keeps ownership of the quiz, email follow-up and coaching conversations.
The Launch Campaign
Podcast appearances take time to schedule, record, and publish. Starting in November gives us an opportunity to build momentum around the book launch, with six months to manage the outreach, coordinate appearances, and support each episode as it goes live.
Months 1–2
Refresh your media kit around the new book, finalize talking points, and begin outreach to priority hosts. Once printed copies are available, we'll coordinate sending them to select shows.
Months 2–4
Coordinate guest appearances as hosts confirm availability, prepare for each interview, and track recording and expected publication dates.
Months 3–6
Support published episodes with clips, social copy, and host-ready assets, with the quiz as the recommended next step for listeners.
Months 5–6
Review confirmed placements, released episodes, and available response data to understand which audiences are engaging and inform next steps.
After Each Episode
Once an episode is published, we'll help you and the host share it with the audiences already following you.
Short-form clips, a quote graphic, and suggested captions, prepared from available episode materials for you and the host to share.
Suggested posts for the day an episode publishes, with follow-up content for the days afterward.
For two or three of the strongest conversations, we'll explore bylined article opportunities with relevant industry publications, subject to editorial acceptance.
A clear record of confirmed bookings, recording dates, published episodes, links, and supporting content, consistent with our previous work together.
Also Included | Future of Fitness
An interview with Eric Malzone and a feature in the Future of Fitness newsletter, coordinated around the book launch.
Optional · Pending Confirmation
Athletech News presents a potential opportunity to reach a more focused audience of the gym owners this book was written for.
Athletech News
We're exploring a coordinated opportunity with Athletech that would combine editorial content, a targeted email placement, and a podcast conversation around the new book.
An article from Vince introducing the four-stage framework, with a clear next step for interested readers.
A dedicated send to Athletech's independent gym owner segment, estimated at roughly 20,000 owners. Audience size, targeting, availability, and open and click reporting are still being discussed.
A podcast conversation with Eddie Hertzman and Eric Malzone focused on the book's framework and the challenges independent gym owners face.
This would be an optional, separately priced package. Final scope, availability, audience details, and reporting are subject to confirmation with Athletech.
The Investment
We're proposing a six-month engagement with the same core placement deliverables as our previous work together, supported by updated messaging and a coordinated launch campaign.
